Il 2026 segnerà una tappa importante nella carriera di Arjen Anthony Lucassen. Il celebre polistrumentista olandese, tra i più influenti produttori del metal made in The Netherlands, pubblicherà quest’anno, sotto il monicker Ayreon, il nuovo album live “30th Anniversary – An Amazing Flight Through Time In May”.

L’opera racchiude il meglio dei sei concerti-evento che il musicista ha portato in scena allo 013 di Tilburg nel settembre del 2025, ripercorrendo i trent’anni di carriera del progetto e registrando oltre 15 mila presenze, con la partecipazione di numerosi ospiti speciali, quali Tommy Karevik (Kamelot), Anneke van Giersbergen, Dino Jelusick (Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Whitesnake), Maggy Luyten, Heather Findlay, Marcela Bovio, Irene Jansen, Wudstik, Damian Wilson (Arena), Robert Soeterboek, Mike Mills (Toehider).

In questa occasione hanno giocato un ruolo fondamentale anche Joost van den Broek (storico produttore degli Epica), Ed Warby, Johan van Stratum (Blind Guardian) e Timo Somers (ex-Delain).

Il live album sarà disponibile in diversi formati e verrà pubblicato il 22 maggio via Music Theories Recordings / Artone.
